The 1960s were an era of innovation in the world of watches, the quartz era was only a few years away, automatic chronographs were approaching and diver's watches were surfacing (pun intended).

This 1960s Nivada Grenchen is the definition of a vintage diver.

A stunning matte-black dial never fails to catch your attention, especially with its tritium inner bezel & markers that have aged wonderfully and acquired a warm cream color.

Powering this watch is a beautifully decorated Swiss made ETA 2472 17-jewel automatic movement that offers great accuracy, reliability, hand-winding & a date with semi quick-set.

Housing this watch is a uniquely stunning comfort case with a sunburst finish on the top with polished case sides.

Size: 38.5mm mid-case width, (42mm width with crown), 12mm height, 20mm lug-to-lug width.

Condition: This watch is in great condition although was not babied around and has great wear marks that compliment the age.

Movement Condition: The movement was serviced in November of 2023. Daily rate is (±) 5-9 seconds, great amplitude of 270-280 & a beat error of 0.1MS.

This watch comes with a 1 year limited mechanical warranty.

Returns are allowed within 7 calendar days with the day of delivery counting as one.

All of our watches are inspected and serviced if required to function to the best of its capabilities. However please do note that vintage watches are susceptible to slight accuracy deviations and will not be as precise as modern timing equipment.

Due to the nature of vintage watches there may be signs of wear and cosmetic imperfections not to be considered as defects.

We do not offer any guarantees in regards to water resistance unless stated. Do not submerge your watch in water or expose it to high humidity conditions.
