This 1987 Seiko SQ 5Y23-6A39 ‘Baby Royal Oak’ is just the watch for those who want an authentic taste of 80s design language without having to settle for modern reissues. 


In order to discuss this watch we first must start with the dial, a stunning midnight blue is embossed with a ‘chain-link’ texture and is contrasted by gold toned indices and hands to create an amazing dial that you won’t want to take your eyes off of. 



Powering this watch is the 1-jewel 5Y23 quartz movement that provides great accuracy, hacking for precise time-setting and a day-date with quick-set fo0r convenience. 



Housing this watch is what you’d expect to come out of the 80s with a two tone case, Royal Oak inspired bezel and a fantastic two-tone bracelet that ties the watch up perfectly.


Condition: In great condition with only gentle wear, the crystal is free from any noticeable marks and the case doesn’t have any scratches or dings that stand out.


Size: 33mm diameter (35mm with crown), 8mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width, bracelet size of 8”.


This watch comes with a 90 day limited mechanical warranty.
