New old stock watches are a rare find but when they surface they sure are a treat!

This 1979 Seiko 5 REF: 6309-7070 features a stunning deep marine blue dial that is contrasted by the sharp mirror polished indices that effortlessly transition from deep black to shining silver depending on the lighting. 

Powering this watch is the Seiko 6309 17-jewel automatic movement is a workhorse movement that offers great reliability, good accuracy, & a day-date with quick-set for convenience. 

Housing this watch is a classic Seiko 5 style that sits comfortably on the wrist all while looking great. 

Condition: Being a NOS model this watch has essentially no wear from use. Some light patina has formed on the hands & indices which is to be expected given its age.

Size: 35mm diameter (36mm with crown), 11mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width & bracelet size of 7 ¾”.

Movement condition: The movement is currently running at ± 5-10 seconds per day, amplitude of 240-260 & a beat error of o.3MS.

Note: The watch will come with the original plastic sleeve that protects the buckle and a Seiko branded plastic bag. The watch also comes with the original tag. 

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.

Note: Due to the nature of this watch being NOS, the watch cannot be returned if the tag is removed or there's any sign of wear marks/damage.
