One of our favorite things about vintage watches is the unique charm they bring and this 1950s Elgin Shockmaster has a charm that only increases with time.

This watch features an aged light champagne dial that is paired with mirror polished indices and hands.

Powering this watch is a Swiss Elgin 643 17-jewel automatic mechanical movement that provides reliable performance.

Housing this watch is a compact stainless steel case that sits on the wrist comfortably and confidently.

Size: 29mm diameter (32mm with crown), 11mm height, 16mm lug width.

Note: The crown was replaced for an aftermarket piece for reliable future use.

Note 2: The hands and indices were relumed at some point in its life.

Movement Condition: The movement was serviced in March of 2025 and is currently running at ± 7-12 seconds per day, amplitude of 250-260 and a beat error of 0.7MS.

Condition: The watch is in good condition with some wear on the case.

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.
