This 1968 Seiko 5 DX REF: 5139-7040 is just the watch for those looking for an everyday vintage watch. 

This watch features a beautiful silver sunburst dial that radiates wonderfully and is paired by chunky indices and sharp hands that are mirror polished. 

Powering this watch is the famous Seiko 5139 27-jewel automatic movement that provides great reliability, good accuracy, hacking for precise time-setting and a day-date with quick-set for the date.

Note: To change the date just press in the crown until you reach the desired date. To change the day turn the hands to midnight, rewind to 8 o’clock and midnight again until you reach the desired day.

Housing this watch is a fantastic steel case that sits comfortably on the wrist all while looking great. 

Condition: This watch is in great condition with gentle wear.

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in August of 2025 and is currently running at (±) 5-14 seconds per day, amplitude of 200-225 and beat error of 0.2MS. 

 Size: 36mm diameter, 10mm height, 19mm lug-to-lug width. 

 

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
