For those looking for a fantastic vintage companion, this 1969 Seiko Automatic REF: 2517-0291 may just be the watch.

This watch features a stunning silver sunburst dial that is paired with mirror polished indices and hands that play with the light wonderfully.

Powering this watch is a Seiko 2517 21-jewel automatic movement with hand-winding, and a date with quick-set. To quickly set the date, fully pull out the crown, this will advance the date, press the crown back in when done.

Housing this watch is a fantastic compact stainless steel case that sits on the wrist comfortably and confidently.

Size: 22mm diameter (22mm with crown), 11mm height, 10mm height.

Condition: In great condition with only light wear. 

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in April of 2026, and is currently running within  ± 30 seconds per day, amplitude of 230-240 and beat error of 0.2MS


This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty. 

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.

Returns are allowed within 7 calendar days with the day of delivery counting as one.

All of our watches are inspected and serviced if required to function to the best of its capabilities. However please do note that vintage watches are susceptible to slight accuracy deviations and will not be as precise as modern timing equipment.

Due to the nature of vintage watches there may be signs of wear and cosmetic imperfections not to be considered as defects.

We do not offer any guarantees in regards to water resistance unless stated. Do not submerge your watch in water or expose it to high humidity conditions.

Care Instructions

Do not submerge watch underwater, expose to humidity & avoid labor intensive jobs while wearing the watch.

Amazing piece at a great price!

Absolutely loved this Seiko Ladies Auto. The watch is very well kept, very little wear, feels great, movement is working nicely. I did notice that one day my wife changed rooms, from a cold dry room to a hot and moist terrace, and the watch got foggy inside the dial. We waited about an hour and checked again and the fogging had dissipated, but still not the greatest feeling. To be expected of vintage pieces, will have to go get it checked soon. Aside from that, very happy with the purchase. Got two other watches for myself as well, no trouble there. Keep up the good work!
