Whether you’re an avid Seiko fan or are dipping your toes into the world of vintage watches, this 1969 Seiko Bell-Matic REF: 4006-7010 is a jewel that you don’t want to miss.

This watch features a stunning straight grain gray dial that absolutely blows you back with its amazing shimmer and is paired by mirror polished indices and hands.

Powering this watch is the more hard to find Seiko 4006 27-jewel variant. Due to import taxes Seiko shifted from the 27 jewel movement to a 17 jewel variant however this watch is a late 60s model and has the preferred 27 jewel movement variant. This movement offers great accuracy, reliability, automatic winding, a day-date with semi-quick set and the star of the show being the alarm feature.

Note 1: To set the date on this watch gently press in the pusher until you reach the desired date. To change the day alternate from 9 PM to 4 AM back and forth until you reach the desired day. Do not quickset the date from the times of 8 PM to 5 AM as it may damage the movement.

Note 2: For avid Seiko fans this watch is a ‘waterproof’ variant compared to the more common ‘water resistant’ variants. Though we do not recommend involving this watch with water.

To Use the alarm feature, wind the crown until you feel a gentle resistance, then pop out the crown to the first position, set the alarm at the desired time, push the crown back in and then gently pull out the pusher.

Housing this watch is a fantastic chunky solid steel case that not only looks great but feels like a pillow on the wrist.

Size: 38mm diameter (40mm with crown), 14mm height, 19mm lug-to-lug width.

Condition: In good condition with gentle wear. Light patina on indices, hands and the date window.

Movement Condition: The movement was serviced in the spring of 2024 and is currently running at ± 5-8 seconds per day, amplitude of 240-260 and a bear error of 0.0-0.3MS.

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
