This 1970 Bulova ‘Whale’ automatic is just the watch for those who are looking to get an amazing everyday vintage watch.

This watch features a stunning matte midnight dial that is black yet with a slight blue hue. The dial is accompanied by flat white hands and a pop of color with the orange seconds hand. The original tritium lume is in perfect condition.

Oh and who can forget the cute whale logo?

This watch is powered by the reliable Bulova 11A0ACB 23-jewel Swiss automatic movement that provides great reliability, handwinding and a day-date with semi quick-set.

Note: To quickly change the day-date pull out the crown and flip back and forth in the midnight position, repeat this until you have your desired day-date.

Housing this watch is a fantastic solid steel cushion case that not only feels great but looks amazing!

Condition: In great condition with a gentle reliced feel.

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in January of 2025 and is currently running at (±) 4-8 seconds per day, max amplitude of 250-270 and a beat error of 0.2MS. When fully wound via handwinding the movement provides a power reserve of around 38-40 hours. When worn and automatically wound it keeps a power reserve of around 14-15 hours off the wrist.

This watch comes with a 60-day limited mechanical warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post sale.
