One of the things we love the most about vintage watches is how much value you get for your money. In a world where a basic Swiss automatic watch will easily start out at four figures it's nice to know that there are vintage alternatives at half that all while having more charm.
This Bucherer is the perfect example.
When you first set your eyes on this watch your attention is drawn towards the straight grain silver dial that is adorned by high rise indices, a carved and polished applied Bucherer logo at the 12 o’clock and who could forget the pumpkin toned aged tritium lume that’s present on the hands and indices.
Powering this watch is an ETA based 25 jewel automatic movement that was adjusted by Bucherer to provide chronometer grade accuracy (now in its older years still provide great accuracy of ± 5-7 seconds per day), automatic winding and a date with semi-quick-set. Oh, and there isn’t a plastic part to be found in the escapement unlike modern affordable Swiss mechanical movements.
Housing this watch is a 20 micron gold plated cushion case with a brushed case top and mirror polished sides.
Size: 33mm width (35mm with crown), 40mm length, 11mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width.
Condition: This watch is in phenomenal condition, the only wear present on the watch is gold plating loss that’s found on the sides and a tad bit on the back, as such the price has been adjusted accordingly.
Movement condition: The movement was serviced in November of 2024 and is currently running at ± 5-7 seconds per day, amplitude of 260-280 and a beat error of 0.1MS.
This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.
Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
