Why We Chose This Watch

The 1970s was a dramatic period in the watch world in both terms of technology and design language.

Though this 1970s Wittnauer is not quartz it embodies the essence of 70s watch design.

This Wittnauer features a stunning light red matte dial that is contrasted by beautiful high rise indices, blocky hands and four aged lume pips found in the inner dial.

Powering this watch is a Longies/Record 501 automatic 17 jewel movement that not only looks stunning but provides great accuracy, handwinding and a date with quick-set that is activated by gently pressing in the crown.

Housing this watch is a fantastic gold toned case that is synonymous with 70s design with its hooded lugs, chunky feel and sunburst finishing on the top.

Condition: In great condition with gentle wear acquired through time and use, most notable wear is on the crown.

Size: 33mm width (36mm with crown), 36mm length, 11mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width.

Movement Condition: This movement was serviced in July of 2024 and is currently running at ± 6-9 seconds per day, healthy amplitude of 230-245 and a beat error of 0.9MS.

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.

All watches marked as ‘serviced’ have undergone full disassembly, inspection, repairs if needed, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication, and timing adjustments to ensure the watch is running to the best of its capability.

Free shipping within the USA on all orders $79 and up. Your order will be shipped out within 1-2 business days after order confirmation.

Returns are allowed within 7 calendar days with the day of delivery counting as one. Do note that returns incur a 15% restocking fee.

International Orders: All shipping costs, duties, and other taxes associated with importing a timepiece are the buyer's responsibility.

Warranty

All of our watches are inspected and serviced if required to function to the best of its capabilities. However please do note that vintage watches are susceptible to slight accuracy deviations and will not be as precise as modern timing equipment.

Due to the nature of vintage watches there may be signs of wear and cosmetic imperfections not to be considered as defects.

We do not offer any guarantees in regards to water resistance unless stated. Do not submerge your watch in water or expose it to high humidity conditions.
