For those looking for their everyday vintage piece, this 1971 Seiko Lord-Matic REF: 5606-7140 is just the watch. 

This watch features a not very common matte black dial, this black dial is paired perfectly with sharp rectangular indices that are mirror polished and hands that are filled with lime green lume for just the right pop of color. 

Powering this watch is the Seiko 5606 23-jewel movement which provides automatic winding, handwinding, hacking for precise time-setting and a day-date in both English & Kanji with quick-set.  

Housing this watch is a fantastic cushion mono-bloc stainless steel case that sits on the wrist with confidence. 

Condition: In great condition with just light wear. 

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in August of 2025 and is currently running at ± 6-8 seconds per day, amplitude of 230-240 and a beat error of 0.2MS.


This watch comes with a 60-day limited mechanical warranty

The warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery

All of our watches come with a limited mechanical warranty regardless of their price. Mechanical watches come with a 60-day limited mechanical warranty & quartz watches come with a 90-day limited warranty. The warranty starts upon arrival of your timepiece.
