If you’re on the hunt for the perfect vintage everyday watch then perhaps this 1973 Citizen Leopard 28800 Hi-Beat is just the watch for you.

This watch features a beautiful snow dial that glows and shimmers wonderfully in the light and is paired by mirror polished indices.

Powering this watch is an in-house Citizen 24-jewel automatic hi-beat movement that ticks 28800 times per hour or 8 times per second, this watch features a day-date in both English & Kanji.

Note: To change the date hold the watch vertically with the logo facing up, then press in the crown. To change the day, turn the watch upside down and press in the crown. Pretty cool isn’t it?

Housing this watch is a stainless steel case that is tight enough to slide under most cuffs yet substantial enough to never fail to stand out.

Size: 37mm diameter, 12mm height, 18mm lug width, bracelet size of 6 ¾” and 7 ¼” with the included bracelet extender. Due to the relatively short bracelet size we are happy to offer a free Seiko strap if requested.

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in May of 2025 and is currently running at ± 6-12 seconds per day, amplitude of 250-260 and a beat error of 0.7 MS. 


Condition: In good condition with gentle wear.

This watch comes with a 60 day limited mechanical warranty.

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
