This 1973 Seiko Lord-Matic Special REF: 5216-6010 is not a good watch because the word good would be underselling it, this Seiko is amazing.

An absolutely stunning emerald green dial will immediately capture your attention the minute you see it in person with a shimmer that’s hard to come by. Now add high rise mirror polished indices and a faceted crystal and you’ve got a watch that you’ll never want to take off your wrist. 

Powering this watch is the workhorse Seiko 5216 25-jewel automatic movement that is an absolute charm that offers a hi-beat movement for a smooth sweep, great accuracy, hacking for precise time-setting, handwinding and a day-date in both English & Kanji wit quick-set for convenience. 

Housing this watch is a beautiful case with all the curves and sharp edges that the 70s could offer. Tying the package together is the fantastic Seiko bracelet that so effortlessly molds to your wrist. 

Size: 36mm diameter (38mm with crown), 12mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width, bracelet size of 7 ¾”.

Condition: In great condition with minor wear, little marks are present at the 6 o’clock position of the case bezel. The crystal has been replaced with an original faceted crystal for a perfect view of the crystal. 

Movement Condition: The movement was serviced in June of 2024 and is currently running at ± 0-7 seconds per day, an amplitude of 240-255 and a beat error of 0.1MS.
