This 1981 Seiko King Quartz REF: Seiko 9223-8000 truly deserves the title of King and you’ll agree after reading about it.

The undeniable star of the show is the dial, a dial that can be best described as snowy tapestry that never fails to stand out. Accompanying the dial are razor sharp mirror polished indices and hands that easily transition from black to white depending on the lighting. 

Powering this watch is the Seiko 9223 8-jewel movement that provides fantastic accuracy, hacking for precise time-setting, a day-date with both English & Kanji and quick-set for convenience. 

Housing this watch is an amazing solid steel case that shows off Seiko’s mastery of finishing as this watch has an amazing deep grain finish that resembles that of wood grain, this finishing continues to the bracelet to create a seamless flow. 


Condition: In amazing nearly mint  condition with only nearly no wear, the crystal was replaced for an OEM crystal for a perfect view of the dial.

Movement condition: The movement was serviced in October of 2024 and is running and functioning great.

Size: 36mm diameter, 8.5mm height, 18mm lug-to-lug width, 8” bracelet length. 

This watch comes with a 90 day limited mechanical warranty. 

Warranty does not cover damage inflicted post delivery.
